Why This Role Matters

Liso is building the infrastructure that helps developing artists and their teams make better decisions and build sustainable careers. As Head of Product, you would own the product vision and roadmap connecting artist data, relationships, and opportunity matching into a single coherent platform, working directly with the founding team to translate mission into shippable product.

Responsibilities

Define and prioritize the product roadmap in partnership with engineering, design, and the CEO.
Translate artist, creator, and operator needs into structured product requirements.
Establish product processes appropriate for an early-stage team.
Partner with Engineering and Design leads to ship features that move core adoption and retention metrics.
Represent the voice of the customer in strategic planning and fundraising narratives.

Minimum Qualifications

6+ years in product management, with at least 2 years owning a product area end-to-end at a startup or growth-stage company.
Demonstrated ability to ship complex, data-informed products from 0-to-1.
Strong written communication and structured thinking.
Comfort operating with ambiguity and limited resources.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in music, media, marketplaces, or creator-economy products.
Experience working directly with engineering and design in a small, fast-moving team.
Familiarity with data or matching-driven products.

Required Skills

Product strategy, roadmap prioritization, cross-functional leadership, written specs, metrics-driven decision making.

Preferred Skills

Basic data analysis, marketplace or matching product experience, familiarity with AI-assisted product features.

Required Experience

6+ years in product management.

Preferred Experience

Experience at an early-stage startup, or in music or the creator economy.

What Success Could Look Like

First 90 days: validated roadmap, established product process, at least one shipped improvement to a core metric.
First 180 days: repeatable release cadence and demonstrated measurable improvement in a core adoption or retention metric.

Education

No specific degree is required. We weight demonstrated experience, judgment, and outcomes over credentials.

Work Authorization

Must be authorized to work in the United States. Liso does not currently sponsor employment visas.

Travel

Minimal. Occasional travel for team offsites, industry events, or partner meetings may be requested.
