This role would help keep the Liso platform, applicant data, and artist data secure as the company grows, building the security practices and platform reliability that a company handling sensitive personal data requires.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain security practices across the platform, including access control, data protection, and secure development.
Own platform reliability, monitoring, and incident response readiness.
Partner with Engineering to embed security into the development lifecycle.
Support privacy and data-retention practices for sensitive personal data, including applicant and artist data.
Evaluate and harden third-party integrations and infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years in security engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related role.
Demonstrated experience with secure application development practices.
Strong understanding of data protection and access-control principles.
Comfort operating in a small team without a dedicated security organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience securing systems that handle sensitive personal data.
Experience with compliance frameworks relevant to privacy or data protection.
Experience in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
Required Skills

Required Experience
4+ years in security or platform engineering.

What Success Could Look Like
First 90 days: documented, enforced security practices across the platform.
First 180 days: a tested incident-response process and demonstrated reduction in security risk exposure.
Education
No specific degree is required. We weight demonstrated experience, judgment, and outcomes over credentials.
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Liso does not currently sponsor employment visas.
Travel
Minimal. Occasional travel for team offsites, industry events, or partner meetings may be requested.
